Description: The best kept secret in vintage Rolex are the transitional 5513 Submariner’s. These differ from the more ubiquitous matte dials in that they have a gloss dial with white gold lume surrounds. This is a great marriage of vintage and neo-vintage and people will take notice. This watch has an excellent case with bevels still sharp throughout the case. It has a tropic 39 crystal which gives it a big superdome look like the early sea-dweller crystals. But the star of the show will be the ghost insert that has faded over time. The font is still legible and appears in the right lighting.
