Description: 1984 Rolex 16800 Matte Dial Submariner. This 16800 has a gorgeous Deep pumpkin patina lume. The case is thick and even and well maintained. This 16800 boasts a sapphire crystal yet hosts a matte dial signifying the transition of these watches to their younger modern white gold surround dial brethren. These watches were only made for a couple years before Rolex transitioned to the newer gloss dials and then later moved to the 16610 reference
