Description: 1966 was the core year of the Gilt closed chapter-ring dial 5513’s. This example has an extremely glossy black dial with big sized lume plots and a very funky tropical patina dial. The “Bart Simpson” nickname is given to these types of dials as the coronet resembles the famed cartoon character. There is something we love about imperfect watches, and we think this watch captures this perfectly
