2002 Audemars Piguet 14790ST “Military Dial” Royal Oak

Description: The extinguishable silhouette of the royal oak combined with a ‘military’ dial makes this a piece unique watch. This dial first appeared in the 1990s, adding a robust and handsome touch to the AP line. Our offering has a gloss black dial with the ‘arabic’ marker indices, and the ‘sword’ handset that is often found on military dials. Powered by the AP calibre 2225 automatic this piece is very polarizing in iit’ss looks as it deviates from the traditional AP dial design. However, much like Rolex , the military dials were not appreciated for what they were until much further down the road.
