1999 Rolex 18296 Platinum Diamond Day-Date

Description: Ever since Rolex launched the Day-Date in 1956, it has been the brand’s most popular and prestigious lineages. The “President” nickname was earned after being worn by United States president Lyndon B. Johnson. This 18296 Day-Date takes the regular Day-Date most commonly made from Gold and amps it up by using platinum with a silver diamond dial. But if that wasn’t enough, the conservative watchmakers at Rolex also embedded diamonds into the lugs from the factory to give it more pop. The platinum material may be understated but anyone wearing this piece will feel the weight of it. Discrete is probably not the right word we are looking for here but this watches lavishness may just be visible to just a few people.
