We’ve been hunting for these cream Explorer II’s and its no secret why they are so desire-able. The dial started off as a sterile white and over the years some of these dials are known to turn cream in color. These appear more often in the earlier 16550 but we have seen more than a handful appear in the later 16570 series. Now the degree of cream will vary from watch to watch as with all tropical dials. This one has a very creamy appearance that is unmistakable for a white dial. The lume on the dial has also aged to a pumpkin color. Hands are original and seasoned collectors know that rarely do these match the dial
