Description: The 14270 Explorer I is a bit of an enigma. It is often recommended as a starter Rolex sports watch. But we have been coming to find out that a lot of our seasoned clients that have gone through the rounds eventually come back to the simple gloss 3-6-9 black dial and no frills smooth bezel case that the 36mm 14270 bring to the table. This specific example is probably the version you should get for a number of reasons. The case appears very sharp and unpolished and includes the original case back sticker. Furthermore the dial has a beautiful mid tone yellow lume patina that only appear on the tritium examples. Rolex Explorer booklet included.
