1987 Rolex 5151 Cellini Octagon Yellow Gold

Description: The Cellini 5151 Octagon was an evolution from the King Midas line. The shape of the Midas evolved into a more octagonal shape that still married the case and integrated bracelet. This two-tone Yellow & White Gold 5151 was rarely seen as it had an expensive pave dial. We think this era of Rolex was under appreciated and we are starting to see a lot of attention back to this era of watch collecting. Roman Numerals 6 & 12 inhabit the top and bottom of the bezel/case . Case dimensions are 26.5 x 36mm. Movement is a manual 1601 cal.
