Description: The Oysterquartz is a misunderstood watch. It was Rolex’s response to the Quartz takeover from Japan and they put together a hybrid mechanical / quartz movement that still to this day remains one of the best Quartz movements ever made. The case was also designed by none other than Gerald Genta. His iconic integrated bracelet / case combo provides a truly one of a kind wearing experience compared to anything else from the house at the time. This specific example comes with the box and manuals from its original owner. The case appears unpolished as well. The dial is a blacked variant where the indices and the hands are painted black from factory.
