Description: The 16808 is a stunner when seen with a blue nipple dial. These were only produced for a few years as Rolex eventually removed the nipple dials to match the gold surrounds of their steel sport dials. The nipple dials were at this point only unique to Gold and Two-Tone watches marking them as special pieces. This 16808 has a faded blue dial that appears even throughout the dial. Lume on the hands and nipples appear matching and deeply saturated as well. The case has recently been polished and appears excellent with a very fat case and sharp bevels.
