1986 Rolex 16550 Cream Panna Explorer II With Box

Description:  Not all cream dial’s are created equal. There are only a few references that are known to turn out a cream dial. The 16520 and 116520 Daytona’s, and more famously the 16550 cream dial Explorer II’s. Perhaps what is more strange is that this cream variant that develops over the years on very few dials brings the value of this Explorer II above its cream dial Daytona counterparts. This watch in particular comes with a period correct box. It also boasts a very sharp and thick case that appears unpolished. Over the past few years these watches pop up seldomly and are rarely seen for resale again for good reason. The cream on this dial is also much more taupe in color than the other swiss cream colored Explorer
