Description: There exist a small batch of dials that turn cream mostly in the 16550 series of Explorer 2’s and some in the 16570 series of watches. These start off like any other white dial Explorer except over the years the paint on the dial reacts to UV / Radiation / Moisture / Heat etc and can turn into a gorgeous tropical cream dial. This dial color almost appears closer to a chino or khaki color. The case is very thick and perhaps lightly polished in the past. As with Explorer II’s of this era the hands rarely are an exact match to the dial lume nut these appear closer in hue than others.
