Description: 1985 16760 Fat Lady GMT. One of the rarest GMT references can be considered the 16760 otherwise known as the “Fat Lady.” The nickname was attributed to the increased case size around the lugs and crown guards as well as the overall thickness height of the case. Produced for only a few years and only in a coke bezel variant, these watches were overlooked in the past. Not only does the case size give the watch a completely different feel when compared to their thin counterparts, the coke bezel separates any confusion one may have mistaking it for a regular pepsi GMT. This watch in particular has an amazing intense yellow lume that stands out against the red and black coke bezel. Luckily for the future owner, this watch comes with 2 bezels, one slightly more faded than the other. The watch has also an engraving on the case back that says “CAPT. TOM MECHLIN – SEPTEMBER 18TH 1995”

Dial: Excellent Glossy WGS dial with no signs of spidering or crazing. Lume is intact and shows an Intense yellow tritium when shown in sunlight. Original Tritium lume

Insert: 2x Coke Bezel Inserts fat font

Case: Excellent case with Bevels still visible

Bracelet: 78360 bracelet in excellent condition
