Description: The 1601 datejust was mostly known as an all steel watch. There are a few examples that were made fully in  precious metals and even fewer known to be produced with stone dials. This Black onyx dial stands out as you stare into the abyss when looking at this flawless dial adorned only by the Rolex crown. The case has taken on a beautiful purple patina as the Gold begins to oxidize around the crown area. This has to be the best Rolex Onyx we’ve seen.
