Description: 1983 Rolex 16800 Spider Dial Submariner. This 16800 has a gorgeous faded slate/lilac bezel and medium yellow patina lume. Case is thick and even and well maintained.This 16800 boasts a sapphire crystal yet hosts a matte dial signifying the transition of these watches to their younger modern white gold surround dial brethren. These watches were only made for a couple years and phased out as Rolex introduced the 16610.
