Description: Matte dial 16800’s are a rare bird when it comes to Neo-Vintage Submariners. Made only for a few years before Rolex transitioned to the white gold surround dials that they still use to this day. It is a perfect blend of the matte dials that we are familiar of from the 4 digit submariners but it takes one step towards modern Rolex with the sapphire crystal. This particular 16800 is unpolished with sharp original bevels and crown guards. The dial has a pleasant yellow lume and has a yellowish hue when seen under sunlight.
