Description: The early 16800’s were launched with matte dials instead of glossy white gold surround dials that came after. These transitional Submariner’s were only made for a couple years and bridge the vintage dial era with the modern era of sapphire case Rolex’s. The dial is excellent and it matches the amazing unpolished case as well.
