1978 Rolex 16018 Gold Date-Just Onyx Stone Dial

Description: The 1601 datejust was mostly known as an all steel watch. There are a few examples that were made fully in  precious metals and even fewer known to be produced with stone dials. This Black onyx dial stands out as you stare into the abyss when looking at this flawless dial adorned only by the Rolex crown. The case is unpolished and remains thick all around. This dial also has a rare “T Swiss T” dial even though no luminescent material was used on the dial or hands. These later appeared as Swiss and Swiss Made
