1974 Tudor 7159/0 Monte Carlo Chronograph

Description: There is no mistaking a Tudor Monte Carlo. The pop of orange, black, grey and hints of yellow from the tritium paint a beautiful canvas of colors. At 40mm this watch from the mid 70’s can be seen as the blue print to the 16520 Rolex Daytona as its case shape and bezel debut’d many years before Rolex would adopt a similar frame. The movement is a Valjoux 234 which has been known to be a workhorse chronograph. The Screw down pushers add to the characteristic of this well recognized Tudor Chronograph. This case appears to be recently polished but is in excellent condition with very sharp and very thick bevels. There is a small mark on the dial near the 4 o’clock marker

Case: Case has been previously polished however lugs remain very thick, sharp and even.
