1974 Rolex 1500 Tropical Purple Dial Oyster Perpetual – W/Box

Description: The 1500 reference is probably one of our favorite 34mm models. Not only are they comparatively good value compared to the rest of Rolex’s line up but they were offered in similar variation dials like their submariner /GMT counterparts. So the saying goes “as above, so below.” The crazy tropical dials they made it to the upper line up also existed in the 1500 series. What you have here is an amazing blue dial made in the 70’s that has gone full tropical purple. This techno violet dial that occurs in gold Sub’s trade in the 60k+ region. We wish we could keep this but we would probably just never sell any watches. Our loss, your gain.
