Description: The 70’s were a wild time for Datejusts. A myriad of different types of dials, colors, variants were being introduced on the 16XX Datejust platform. This black dial with gold indices would typically be found on a two tone or all gold watch, however Rolex had other plans and introduced a handful of these gold indices dial’s on Steel Datejust’s. This subtle warmth of the Gold dial with a matte black dial pops against the monochrome scheme of the case and bracelet.  A rare find especially in such great condition.
