Description: The 1655 Explorer II can be seen as one of the more out of left field watches that came out from Rolex. The solid fixed 24 hour bezel as well as the interesting hash marker, indices and hands were a long departure from what Rolex was designing for their other sport watch lineup. This one in particular is in excellent shape with a very thick case that has previously been lightly polished and a beautiful cream patina on the dial. The dial is a MK2 variant. This example was sourced from S.America where it sports Mexico paperwork and a Mexico Oyster bracelet.
