1972 Rolex 1655 Pumpkin “Steve McQueen” MK1 Explorer II

Description: The 1655 Explorer II can be seen as one of the more out of left field watches that came out from Rolex. The solid fixed 24 hour bezel as well as the interesting hash marker, indices and hands were a long departure from what Rolex was designing for their other sport watch lineup. This one in particular is in excellent shape with a very thick case that has previously been polished and a beautiful saturated pumpkin patina on the dial. The dial is a MK1 variant.
