1971 Tudor 7031 Grey “Home-Plate” Oyster Date Chronograph

$27,500

SOLD

Description: The 7031 is a grail Tudor. It was Tudor’s first chronograph and came in a few variants. There was the 7031 (acrylic bezel) and 7032 variant (stainless steel bezel). There was also two color dial variations Grey and Black. The significance here is that when compared to the Rolex Daytona of its time, these sat about 4mm bigger on the wrist and features a very unique design  especially with its baseball “home-plate” shaped markers. Although not as classically recognizeable as the Daytona, its more obscure design to us at least feels much more unique and interesting.

Dial: Grey Home-plate

Insert: Black Bezel

Hands: Original hands

Case: Excellent condition

Bracelet: Oyster
