Description: The 1960s saw many in the watch industry looking to capitalise on increased demand for automatic watches. In 1969, Seiko delivered by introducing what was arguably the world’s first automatic chronograph. Aside from being one of the first automatic chronograph, it was also the first automatic chronograph’s worn in space, which was worn by William Reid Pogue in 1973. And which which is why this watch is nicknamed “Pogue”. Watch is great condition and appears unpolished.
