Description: The 1966 Gilt submariner is one of the better examples we’ve seen from the bart simpson dial submariners. The nickname is given due to the rather oddly shaped coronet on the dial that resembles Bart simpson’s hair. These dials are often wildly patina’d and produce some crazy dials, however this dial is very glossy with near perfect pumpkin lume plots. T Case is in excellent condition with thick and even bevels throughout the watch and appears unpolished. The insert is a mk2 “Long 5” insert and has faded to a brownish color from black.
