Description: The Pre-Daytona Chronograph is a beautiful alternative to the later series that beared the famous Daytona name. These are tremendous value given the current pricing and appreciation of its later siblings. The 6238 is known for its beautiful silver dial with tachymeter directly printed onto the dial. This allows for a smooth steel bezel free of engravings and leads to a simpler monochromatic style. Two dial variants came on the 6238 , black and silver. The black dial variants trade at a 3x-4x premium over the silver as they were made in much fewer quantities… however, given the price delta we once again come back to a strong case for the silver dial as it is the blueprint to all the Daytona’s that came thereafter. Case is sharp and strong and dial lume plots are all present.
