Description: The 5512 Gilt chapter-ring for most series collectors is a grail sub. These are one of the earliest Submariners to receive crown guards. The crown guards themselves also are pointed as opposed to the curved ones that replaced them shortly after this run.  The lume is excellent and sits beautifully against a glossy black dial. There are 4 lines of text with 2 of them being silver. There is a bit of hand drag that is noticeable in certain lighting.
