Description: We love stone dials, especially the onyx dials. This is a 1990 16238 Date Just. As you know the datejust is commonly found in an all steel case, but few examples were made with precious metals and even fewer with stone dials. The Onyx stone dial is an abyss that is best viewed in our opinion sans day wheel. We prefer the Datejust over the Day-Date much like why some purists prefer the 5513 over the 1680 because of the simpler dial without the date. And to make it even more rare this watch has diamonds at the 6 o’clock and the 9 o’clock. The case is in great condition and appears to be ever so lightly polished.
Dial: Diamond Onyx Dial
Case: Appears lightly polished
Bracelet: Yellow Gold Jubilee
