Description: The 1601 datejust was mostly known as an all steel watch. There are a few examples that were made fully in precious metals and even fewer known to be produced with Roman dials. This gold 1601 is a stunner to look at. The case has a pinkish undertone that is a bit warmer than it’s more common yellow gold counterparts. Roman dials are often referred to as “Buckley Dials” and feature Roman numerals’s instead of stick indices as they commonly come in. The blue has faded into a velvety blue and retains all the paint and patina on the dial.
